Home » Financial, Politics, Sgt. Doom » Cutting Out Privacy – NSA’s Boundless Informant

So you’ve probably heard about the latest program of NSA, Boundless Informant, that collects personal information about all of us while we rest assure that our privacy is sacred. This tool acquires around 3 billion intelligence pieces per month from computers and phones in US alone. And it does that worldwide.

A lot of discussions revolved around this issue lately; Obama came out and said you can’t have privacy and security at the same time. But the issue here is that with our privacy virtually inexistent, are we really secure? This harms more rights than I can count; basically, whatever we say or we write can be considered as evidence against us, before even thinking of committing any crime.

Just a little while ago, NSA officials publicly denied that they collect information on Americans, in front of the Senate. Just like that. What does that show us? That we can definitely trust no one. It also shows us that the government doesn’t care about the people’s rights anymore and that it won’t stop at anything to make America a prison. Just for the sake of ‘safety’.

The only positive aspect of this story is that people like Edward Snowden, the former CIA technical assistant who leaked this information, still exist. Consider yourself warned and consider this story an incentive to go waaay off the grid. This guy who threw away his life to warn his fellow American of what the government is doing will most likely pay severe consequences. The only thing we can do for it not to be in vain is become as independent from the government as possible. Learn how to survive on your own, on any conditions, learn how to cut your ties with the government and become self-sustained.

Cutting Out Privacy

One infuriating thing that appeared in the latest declarations of the government officials is that IP addresses are not actually a very exact source of information. Just by having the IP of someone, you, me, or anyone can see the approximate location of that computer. And now consider the technologies used by the government.  Basically, we are captive citizens obeying the law.

Where do you think this desperate need for control comes from? It comes from the wars we waged and the quest for oil and the enemies this country has created by itself; nothing matters more than winning, and you can’t win unless you have total control over the people. And let me tell you this, it can only get worse from here on.

So my advice to you is to hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Learn how to make it on your own, become independent and built the security and the privacy that won’t eliminate each other for yourself.
