I’m back with more essential teas to have in your bug-out bag or simply, just around the house. Last time we talked about black tea, Echinacea, peppermint and chamomile and I told you about their extraordinary benefits. Here are 4 more:

Green tea

Green tea is probably the most known and praised miracle of nature. It does everything; reduces the bad cholesterol, kills the bacteria, it’s anti-viral and make you energetic. All this makes it perfect for emergency situations. If you’re not a coffee person or don’t mingle well with caffeine in general, this is an excellent substitute for your daily energy portion. Keep in mind that green tea also contains caffeine though, only in smaller quantities. If you can’t have any caffeine, then stay away from green tea.

Ginger tea

Ginger tea is also an excellent natural energizer, only it doesn’t contain any caffeine. It has many other benefits too; it will ease your digestion and speed it up, act as an anti-inflammatory agent if drank on a daily basis and neutralize the pain caused by arthritis. Also, one more thing: it does wonders with nausea.

Nettle

Nettle tea is a wonderful cure for anaemia. To make the tea, you need to collect the stinging nettle leaves and bring a pot of water to the boiling point. Turn the heat off, add the leaves and leave it covered for up to 15 minutes – depending on how concentrated you want it. The nettle tea also works when you have a cold, urinary infections, if you cough a lot or your kidney or bladder don’t work properly.

Pine needles

Pine needles are great because you don’t need to stock up on them. You’re probably going to be in an area where you can just find them around. Another positive aspect is that the pine needle tea is prepared just like any other tea: get the pine needles, bring a pot of water to the boiling point, turn off the heat, put the pine needles in the pot and leave it covered for up to 15 minutes. They are rich in Vitamin C, way more than lemon. So if you’re suspecting you’re gonna get a cold, have a cup of pine needle tea.

This is all for now. I hope that you will take my advice and stock on these plants, they are so beneficial for your health. Try it to see what I’m talking about.
